"Areas" and "Adjacents"

I just wanted to give a quick description of two terms we’ve been using: “areas” and “adjacents.”

Areas

An area is the common ground between two adjacent types such as 1 and 2. 1w2 and 2w1 fixes will have an “area” in common. Often when typing someone, you see an area before a core. Here are some of the basic are descriptions we use:

1-2 God

2-3 Prince Charming, Hostess

3-4 Fashion, Model

4-5 Insect

5-6 Nerd

6-7 Comedian, verbosity

7-8 Brat

8-9 Block, Bear

9-1 Philosophy, Jesus

As crude as these sound, they refer to some basic character archetypes that tend to help with the intuitive typing process. As you learn to type, you will come up with your own Area archetypes that work for you.

Adjacents

Adjacents are trifix energies that are similar to a trifix via a core wing. You only have an adjacent if you have a core wing within the same centre. For example, Tom Hiddleston is 2w3 296. This makes him “Bermuda-adjacent” because his 3 wing with 6-9 stem bring him energetically close to a Bermuda for a 2.
