Trifix Nicknames

As an addendum to my post on Trifix Overlay theory, I wanted to write a list of my favourite trifix nicknames.

Why is it important to even have nicknames for the trifixes?

To me, this helps us identify each trifix as an archetypal energy. For example, 126 and 621 are quite different, but they have some important elements in common.

Some of these names will catch on, some won’t. I hope that the ones that work the best will become part of the canon and the ones that don’t will be replaced by something more fitting.

369 The Bermuda Triangle

  • Getting “lost,” identity crisis, triple attachment, the triangle shape within the enneagram

125 The Know-It-All

  • These are the three fixes that “know better/more” than you do, and they’re happy to tell you that

135 The Robot

  • Triple competency, lacking in warmth and humanness

145 The Inflexible

  • These are the three fixes that are the least flexible or malleable

126 The Mom

  • Naturally “helicopter parents” of any situation, triple superego

136 The Worker

  • The three fixes that want to get things done, keep in motion

146 The Critic

  • The three fixes that want to judge you

127 The Priest

  • hyper positive but with an intense moral grounding, inspirational, visionary

137 The Startup

  • architecturally creative and enthusiastic, the ability to keep trying after failure

147 The Lunatic

  • triple frustration, a combination of opposing energies, unsettling

258 The Monk

  • triple rejection, offerings

268 The Superhero Rebel

  • fighting for the underdog, tough love

278 The Venusian Brat

  • a sense of deserving to be pampered but with a Venusian air, a loud-mouth Goddess

259 The Psychotherapist

  • the analytical humanist

269 The Stockholm Syndrome

  • perhaps a harsh characterization, but defining the sense of triple “niceness” that comes with this combination

279 The Rainbow

  • triple positive, sunshine

358 The Serial Killer

  • also a harsh characterization, but defining the sense of this combo having no natural sense of warm humanness, similar to 135, but with a martian (of the planet Mars) impetus, like a robotic Ares

368 The Warrior

  • a natural warrior attitude, reactive and tough without the self-deprecation of 468

378 The Comet

  • fast, motion and action oriented, shooting for the stars, can’t stop moving

359 The Coder

  • 3-5 robot with added 9 broad thinking

379 The Sex

  • BHE has called this trifix the DJ which I love, but I tend to think The Sex somehow hits it more on the head; the three fixes that are exhibitionistic; natural sex appeal; the sense that clothes could come off at any second and it’s not a big deal; bodies are “fun”

458 The Demon

  • internal havoc, non-corporeal evil, possession, the three darkest fixes

468 The Grenade

  • all you need to do is pull the pin and this trifix explodes

478 The Uranus

  • the Uranian principles of revolution, change, breaking things down and starting new, the three brat fixes

459 The Ghost

  • Triple withdrawn; a combination of fixes that are double attachment, double rejection, and double frustration (double, as in issue with both the nurture and protective objects); this trifix exists ephemerally

469 The Charlie Brown

  • If I’m being more honest, I’d call this trifix The Trash Bin, because at some point they will tell you how much they think they’re trash, but I won’t because they aren’t. But I will call it the Charlie Brown because they tend towards complaining, self-deprecation, but with some surprising depth of character. BHE’s The Whiny Tears is also apt

479 The Palm Reader

  • BHE’s Huh? is a great name, but some people are starting to label any person who’s a bit flighty as Huh which is inaccurate. I think Palm Reader touches on the key elements of this combo: esoteric, unconcerned with social judgement of how esoteric they are, artistic, creative, but possibly delusional.

Well there you have it :) Now everyone can tell me how offended they are by the nickname they’ve received in the comments :)
